MEET THE DOCTOR
Amy Scallon Geis D.D.S
Dr. Amy Scallon Geis grew up on a farm outside Iowa Falls, IA and graduated from Iowa Falls-Alden High School. In 2011, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Iowa State with her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Amy received her dental education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics and she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016. After graduation, Dr. Amy was excited to begin her career in Mount Vernon by buying the dental practice from long time dentist, Dr. Douglas Easker.
Dr. Amy spends her Fridays at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry working as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Family Dentistry where she teaches senior dental students. Dr. Amy is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Linn County Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentists.
In her free time, Dr. Amy coaches the Lisbon High School Dance Team, and enjoys spending time with her husband, Vince and their young son, Colin.
